Hertha BSC trusts in the professional support from LOXYMED
|
Since spring 2008 Hertha BSC is the first team in the German Soccer League with a club-owned high-altitude training center. Two rooms were equipped with LOWOXYGEN SYSTEMS technology directly above the locker rooms of the team. Player can train here in altitude climate of up to 4.500m.
Over past years Hertha-players have taken advantage of the facilities and methodical training assistance of the LOWOXYGEN high-altitude training center (then TOSMA) and of the LOXYMED Berlin GmbH, a high-altitude training center opened last year in Berlin-Hellersdorf.
Due to the longterm experience with competitive athletes in artificial high-altitude climate and in cooperation wit LOWOXYGEN SYSTEMS, LOXYMED Berlin supports the sport scientific and methodical work with athletes and trainers at Hertha BSC.
Considering the great training effort and the high frequency of competitions throughout the German Soccer League season, Hertha will use the high-altitude training in particular for the enhancement of general endurance, regeneration and rehabilitation for the prevention of injuries and for coutervailing the loss of power of injured players.
